Retirement

Gary is offically retired as of Friday at 10:30.  I took him to work Friday morning and then went to pick him up at 10:30.  Gary had to go over to the Elon plant to see a couple of people before he left.  We went to Cary to the Golden Corall for lunch and then I went to Jo Anne's and we went to the World Market.
This week we have had 2.7 inches of rain.  Some thunder and lightning but nothing very close.  We really needed the rain.  Our garden has been doing very well.  We are starting to get some blueberries.
I don't know yet when we will be going on our trip.  Hopefully it will be in the late summer.  Gary has finished putting the cedar in the hope chest, and looks very nice and smells good also.  Now I have to get busy putting the material on the top, and making pillows.
We got Misty a pink pool but haven't had time for her to be in it.  I did put a little water in the pool last evening.  Hope you are all having a great summer.
